Welcome to HTW Berlin‘s online self-assessment for professorships!

Our orientation programme will give you a step-by-step introduction to what it’s like being a professor at HTW Berlin. You will learn what makes this job so special, what working at HTW Berlin is like and what our values are.

Our aim is to give you authentic, informative and comprehensive insights into the work of a professor at HTW Berlin.

The online self-assessment is structured as follows:

• Part 1: General introduction to the profession and to German universities of applied sciences (UAS)
• Part 2: Insights into working life as a professor including a self-assessment of expectations and interests, situational tasks and video interviews with our professors
• Part 3: Career information about HTW Berlin

We recommend allowing approximately 3 hours to complete all three sections of the assessment. Upon registration you can save your progress and continue where you left off at any time. We recommend completing the OSA in the given order. However, you may start at any point of the assessement.
